When referring to Salvage Decorating and Design reusing, recycling, restyling, renewing, basically all the “R’s” Shannon Quimby is at the top of the list.

Her first book Shannon Quimby Color Create Decorate was released in 2005 and she is thrilled to be a contributor of the newly released book, Salvage Secrets written by her best friend Joanne Palmisano. Her canny ability to see potential beauty from what most folk call junk has been featured in many national and international magazines. One of her most proud publications, French Glamour. “They flew all the way from Paris to feature my house.”

You can read Shannon’s columns and feature stories in The Oregonian, and she recently wrapped a year and a half run as the DIY Expert for CBS KOIN Studio 6. Shannon is also an HGTV alumnus of two shows, Country Style and My First Place, along with many ongoing national TV appearances. Her latest work. The launch of her new furniture line in partnership with the company Endurawood is titled ”The Trolley Line”, a limited selection of tables, stools and benches made with salvaged wood timbers over 100 years old from the original Sellwood Street Car Barns in Portland Oregon. Her furniture will be for sale through Endurawood and a new POP UP store, Boys Fort launching Oct 31st.
