Exterior Siding Old and New

The whole east side of the REX House was installed with the original shiplap siding from the old house. A major portion of the west side is also our old siding. We found matching new shiplap siding at Lakeside Lumber and Aspen Siding and Windows did a great job piecing it all together. I even asked them not to plug the holes so we can see the old stuff. It turned out amazing.

There was lead paint on the siding so we had to have it stripped. We took it to Houck's Stripping Process center in Portland. Then the crew at Lakeside lumber sanded it and primed it. It turned out great!
